After dark 12056 L/Cpl Robert Alexander Wishart and the 1st HLI relieve the 41st Dogras of the Bareilly Brigade in the trenches near Fauquissart.

In Hinges at 6:15pm privates 3/4067 Robert Wishart, 7397 George Wishart and 2338 Andrew Wishart of the 1st Black Watch march off towards Rue-du-Bois where three companies take over the line from the 2nd King’s Rifle Regiment whilst one remains in the reserve. It has been another fine day, though after sunset the temperature has dropped and there is a sharp frost.

9650 Pte. Alexander Wishart and the 1st Scots Guards leave Tombe Willot with the right half of the battalion going into billets at Le Touret whilst the left go to Richebourg St. Vaast where they are placed in the brigade reserve.
