In Vernon, British Columbia, a 27-year-old engineer from Forfar, Scotland named Robert Wishart visits the recruiting office and joins the Canadian Expeditionary Force. He is assigned to the 62nd Battalion and sent for training.


Arriving on the peninsula today is 13361 Pte. Stanley Lowe Wishart of the 6th Bn Royal Irish Fusiliers. Stanley is from Ballylesson, County Down and part of Wishart Tree 144.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
