In Chatham, New Brunswick, a farmer and fisherman from Tabusintac named Leonard John Wishart enlists with the CEF and eventually posted to the 1st Depot Battalion, New Brunswick Regiment. It’s currently unknown whether Leonard served overseas and after the war, in the late 1920s, he moved to New York with his wife Elizabeth Ross, who he married in 1926. Four sons were born of the marriage, and Leonard died aged 51 in Tombstone, Arizona during 1945. He had been working as an ironworker at the time and is part of tree WIS0051.
