There is heavy rain during the night in the Neuve Chapelle sector. 677 Pte. Henry Gray Wishart and the 1st Seaforth Highlanders are holding ‘A’ subsection, southern section of the Indian Corps line. The Seaforth’s front is protected by wire and chevaux de fuse whilst the Germans have just begun putting out there obstacles. There is hardly any shelling during the day, and very little sniping. As the sun set the temperature dropped under the clear skies, and a strong moon casts ghostly shadows across No Man’s Land.
All other Wisharts remain at their previously reported positions.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
