Dying of tuberculosis on Alfred Street in Stromness is three-month old George Wishart. He was the son of a local fisherman named Thomas Wishart and his wife Mary Jane Thomson. George’s grandmother Jessie White was the informant of his death.

Arriving in France is 19726 Gnr. Archibald Wishart of the 3rd Divisional Ammunition Column AIF – a hairdresser from Ballarat. Archibald returned to hairdressing after the war and married Nellie Carr in 1920. He died in Fitzroy, Victoria in 1934.
