At midday 12056 L/Cpl Robert Alexander Wishart marches with the 1st Highland Light Infantry from Vieille Chapelle to Oblinghem where they arrived at 3:30 p.m.. Meanwhile 2413 Pte. Andrew Brock Wishart of the 9th HLI passes a quiet day in the front line near Festubert.  the Germans are observed working on their trenches whilst men of the 9th are engaged in thickening and revetting their breastworks, and draining the ground in the rear.

Privates 3/4067 Robert Wishart and 7397 George Wishart remain in billeted in the brigade reserve at Beuvry.


10689 L/Cpl J Wishart of the 1st Battalion, Royal Scots returns to former billets in Millekruise.

All other Wisharts remain at their previously reported positions.
