Andrew Brock Wishart) spends the day cleaning the billets at Essars which have been left in a filthy condition.

7397 Pte. George Wishart leaves billets in Beuvry and marches with the 1st Black Watch to new billets in a tobacco factory in Béthune.

The 2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys – including 6391 Pte. John Wishart) parade at 8 a.m. before marching via Estaires to billets west of St Venant near Pont à Balque.
