Another extremely wet day in Northern France. In Burbure the bad weather is cause for divine service to be cancelled, however privates 3/4067 Robert Wishart, 7397 George Wishart and 2338 Andrew Wishart of the 1st Black Watch are still required for training. Despite the rain 677 Pte. Henry Gray Wishart of the 1st Seaforths still attends divine service. in Riez-du-Vinage.

In Ypres 6391 Pte. John Wishart of the 2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys) would have heard a great deal of rifle and artillery fire all day from his billet, which is described as ‘fairly good.’ A few shells fall into the town itself and the men exercise one troop at a time. Orders are issued in anticipation of a quick turn out.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
