At 6 a.m. 10857 Pte. Thomas Wishart, 2nd Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers arrives on board the SS Cymbric at Zeebrugge, Belgium. Upon disembarkation the battalion entrain for Bruges and occupy billets in the village of St Craix. Thomas had enlisted with the battalion in Dundee during 1912 and is the seventh Wishart to arrive on the European continent during war time.
Pte. John Waddie Wishart, 1st Battalion, South Wales Borderers remains at Vendresse on the Aisne. To the south Gnr. Joseph Wishart leaves Jouaignes during the afternoon and marches northeast with the 6th Divisional Ammunition Column to Vieil-Arcy where they billet for the night.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
