In Nanaimo, British Columbia 29-year-old David Wishart from Largs, Ayrshire joins the Army and is assigned to the 2nd Canadian Infantry Battalion (BC Regiment.) A baker by profession David was living in Bamfield at the time he enlisted and doesn’t appear to have seen overseas service. After the war he married and had a daughter and died in Victoria during 1980. David and his family are part of tree WIS0098.
