10046 Pte. J Wishart and 12056 L/Cpl. R Wishart of the 1st Highland Light Infantry entrain at the railhead near Orleans and travel overnight towards Vielle Chapelle.

German aircraft are recorded in the war diary of the 1st Royal Highlanders (Black Watch) as having bombed Hazebrouck. 2450 Pte. J Wishart and 7397 Pte. G Wishart take part in a divisional service at Borre.

Belgium
