A showery day for the men of the 1st Black Watch, who are holding the line in the Rue-du-Bois sector. There is sniping on both sides that cause five wounded. Privates 3/4067 Robert Wishart, 7397 George Wishart and 2338 Andrew Wishart are not among the five.
In Coyecques 6391 Pte. John Wishart and the Royal Scots Greys parade at 8 a.m. for brigade tactical exercise near Fauquembergues.
During the day 1995 Pte. Albert Wishart of the 5th Black Watch is wounded whilst in a working party at B Lines in la Gorgue. He is shot in the hand whilst carrying ammunition and to the trenches and sent to hospital in Boulogne before returning to convalesce in Britain.
