Two Wisharts arrive in France today, the first, Donald McKenzie Wishart is a serving private with the 1st/7th Battalion, Duke of Wellington’s (West Riding Regiment.) He had enlisted under the Derby Scheme in 1915 and on arrival in Boulogne, was sent to No.34 Infantry Base Depot in Etaples for processing. Donald is part of Wishart Tree 023.
43332 Pte. William Smith Wishart was also sent to the base depot in Etaples where he was put on the roll of the 9th Battalion, Cameronians (Scottish Rifles.) William is part of Wishart Tree 013.
