Pte. Henry Gray Wishart remains in the trenches at Neuve Chapelle. During the night three infantry attacks were staged against D Company of the 1st Seaforths, and throughout daylight hours the line was subject to shelling. The opportunity to collect wounded from the battlefield arose, and mostly men from the 1st Royal West Kent and 47th Sikhs were brought in. After nightfall efforts to improve the trenches continued.
Gnr. Joseph Wishart ends the month at his previous position at Petit Mortier.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
