Disembarking in France today is 1568 Tpr. Richard John Wishart of the Royal Horse Guards (Household Cavalry.) Richard had enlisted with the cavalry reserve in 1913, and prior to the war had been working as a master carman and contractor. He was subsequently wounded in 1917 whilst serving with the Household Battalion and survived the war. Richard is part of Wishart Tree 075 and died in London during 1933.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
