At Station Cottage in Lower Largo, Fife, Christina Wishart gives birth to an illegitimate son and names him Stanley.  Stanley’s grandfather Peter is the informant of his birth.

In Friockheim on Kinnaird Street, a retired van driver named Robert Wishart dies aged 86 of senile decay. He is the husband of a Margaret Mollison and the reputed son of David Mouat, a deceased sawyer, and Margaret Wishart, a handloom weaver.
