Arriving in Le Havre is 6536 Pte. Alan Mostyn Wishart from Perth, Western Australia. Prior to proceding overseas Alan had been based at Rollestone Camp on Salisbury Plain, and after disembarkation, made his way to the 2nd Australian Division Base Depot at Etaples, where he remained until 14 August. Alan eventually joined the 50th Battalion AIF in the field three days later and was wounded on two separate occasions whilst in France, but eventually made it home to Australia in early 1919. After the war he and his wife Mona adopted a son and he worked as a clerk until his death in 1949. The family form part of tree WIS0020.
