After muster parade at 11 a.m. a church service is given to the men of the 1st Seaforth Highlanders (including Pte. Henry Gray Wishart) in the open at Le Touret, and conducted by the Rev. McNeill. Similarly at Borre, men of the 1st Black Watch (who include Pte. George Wishart) attend an open-air service.

At Kemmel the Liverpool Scottish have repelled a German attack during the night and brothers William Andrew and Robert Wishart keep a low profile for fear of being hit by enemy snipers who are close to the battalion line.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
