The weather in the Seaforth Highlanders battalion war diary is described as mild and wet, with no snow recorded since the 24th. Pte. Henry Gray Wishart spends the day in billets at Le Touret whilst almost directly to the north, Pte. Andrew Brock Wishart does the same at Bailleul. A quantity of stores have arrived with the 9th Highland Light Infantry, and the men set about oiling their rifles which are noted to have jammed badly whilst in the trenches.
The Wishart brothers William Andrew and Robert, remain in the trenches at Kemmel with the Liverpool Scottish.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
