It has been a cold night along the Western Front with some frost. 677 Pte. Henry Gray Wishart and the 1st Seaforths, who are based in the Neuve Chapelle sector, have found abandoned waterproofs sheets and some blankets in the trenches which they use to keep dry and passably warm. During the day the battalion are relieved in the line by the 4th Seaforths and march to billets near Croix Barbee.
