12056 L/Cpl Robert Alexander Wishart of the 1st Highland Light Infantry begins three days of training at Auchel. Meanwhile in trenches near Festubert the 9th HLI (including 2413 Pte. Andrew Brock Wishart) receive orders that they are to be relieved by the Oxford Light Infantry tomorrow.

At 7:15 orders are received for the 1st Black Watch to leave Annequin and march to billets in Beuvry.  Privates 3/4067 Robert Wishart and 7397 George Wishart are among the battalion.

7322 Gnr. Joseph Wishart of the 6th DAC leaves Bac St. Maur and marches with his section to billets in L’Epinette.

1995 Pte. Albert Wishart of the  1st/5th Battalion Royal Highlanders (Black Watch) remains in trenches in the Neuve Chapelle sector.


1299 Pte. Alexander Wishart of the 1st/7th Battalion, Princess Louise’s (Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders) may have been in one of the double companies assigned to the trenches near Dickebusch.
