Privates 3/4067 Robert Wishart, 7397 George Wishart and 2338 Andrew Wishart of the 1st Black Watch leave Burbure at 1pm for Hinges and then go on to billets at Les Choquaux where they arrive at 6pm. 9650 Pte. Alexander Wishart also leaves Burbure with the 1st Battalion Scots Guards and marches to Oblinghem (south of Hinges.)
In La Gorgue (near Estaires,) 1995 Pte. Albert Wishart of the 1st/5th Black Watch spends the day training and refitting. During the afternoon there are company drill and route marches. Meanwhile at 10:30 am in Merville 6391 Pte. John Wishart and the Royal Scots Greys march from billets to Coyecques via St. Venant, Mollinghem, Estree Blanche where the arrive at 3:30pm.
In Le Havre the 9th Battalion, Royal Scots (minus the two platoons have travelled by train the previous day) parade at 7:30am and march 3 1/2 miles to the station in Le Havre and leave by train for L’Abeele at 12:50pm. It is unknown whether 85 Sgt. Gordon Wishart was part of this detachment.
1972 Pte. Alexander Wishart and 419 CSM John Wishart march out of Bailleul for La Clytte (Belgium) with the 4th Gordons where they join the 8th Infantry Brigade, 3rd Division, 2nd Army Corps. On arrival the men billet in huts.
