Arriving in France to join the Australian Imperial Force is 450 Pte. Reginald Alexander Wishart (known as Rex) from Macorna, Victoria. On arrival he marches to the 3rd Australian Division Base Depot in Etaples and eventually taken on strength of the 38th Infantry Battalion at Houplines (near Armentières) during January 1917. Tragically Reginald will only survive six months on the Western Front, and is part of tree WIS0023.
