Ivy Nellie Wishart was born at 5 Timber Street in Chippenham. She was the daughter of 8394 Pte. John Waddie Wishart, a chauffeur who was serving in France at the time, and Emily Louisa Williams. In 1960 Ivy married Reginald Jefferies and died in her birth town during 2002, aged 87.
