In Kirkcaldy a 31 year old labourer from Burntisland named Robert Wishart enlists and joins the 3rd Battalion Gordon Highlanders.
In the trenches near Festubert Pte. Henry Gray Wishart spends a relatively quiet day on the line with the Seaforth Highlanders. He has experienced much worse and by now shrapnel bursts above the British positions were not new for him. The weather is turning decidedly colder.
Gnr. Joseph Wishart of the 6th DAC remains at Bac St. Maur.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
