At the Presbyterian Chapel in the Garngadhill district of Glasgow, 25-year-old James Wishart, a local brass finisher, marries Agnes Lennon, who is two years younger. James was the sixth of nine children of John Wishart, a railway carter from Perth, and his wife, Mary Arnot. Agnes was the daughter of the late John Lennon; copper works gateman, and his wife, Margaret Gillespie. The couple does not appear to have had any children and lived their entire lives in Glasgow. James died in 1956 and is part of tree WIS0043.
