At 20 John Wood Street in Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire, an iron worker named Thomas Wishart and his wife, Matilda Simpson, become parents to their third (and last) child – a son, and name him Thomas after his father. Young Thomas would go on to marry and have three children with his wife, Agnes Young. He worked as a ship draughtsman and lived until the age of 84. The family form part of tree WIS0018.
